Press Conference

The Chairman of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, Prof. Ahmed Tijjani Mora, mni, had a Press Conference with the Pressmen on November 20, 2020. The key points highlighted were:

1. The issue of internship training placement for fresh Pharmacy graduands, which is receiving attention.
2. The outcome of the Council’s Investigating Panel committee with Pharmacists having issues with respect to ethical responsibilities.
3. The designation of the PCN meeting halls available in PCN Zonal offices across the country, in the name of past Chairmen and Registrars, as a mark of recognition.
4. The establishment of new departments to the Council’s Organogram for monitoring of drug distribution channels using ICT facilities.
5. Some important decisions arising from the 41st PCN Governing Council Meeting which impacts positively on the health of Nigerians were also highlighted.
